Gold Company Sextet Performs with Lyle Mays

The Gold Company Sextet was honored with an invitation from pianist Lyle Mays to perform an original composition at Mays' two performances at the 2010 Irving S. Gilmore International Keyboard Festival. Mays, best known for his 30 year association with guitarist Pat Metheny and the Pat Metheny Group, wrote "Bright as Rain", which featured the GC6 on vocals along with Gold Company alum Aubrey Johnson who plays keyboards and sings in Lyle Mays' band.
